Driving Range

The Driving Range   The driving range is in its second year of operation following an extensive renovation that included increasing the available hitting areas to 30 from the old 24 spots.  We built all new hitting areas and supplied them with state of the art driving range pads.  The driving range looks out over five target greens seeded in bent grass and cut to greens height.  In this year of 2010 we will be completely changing our range ball inventory to a Calloway range ball far superior to the balls utilized in the past.  Our new irrigation system on the driving range with a renovated drainage system will ensure green grass with green consistency landing on all of our five target greens.

The driving range is lighted for after hours practice. It is open 7 days a week from course opening until well after dark. Summer hours keep the driving range open until 9:00pm.   Bring your family, spend a family night out and enjoy a snack either before, during, or after your driving range experience.  We think it beats a night at the movies anytime.

Practice Greens

There are two practice greens. A large putting green with numberous holes is located adjacent to the driving range and is open to the general public as well as golfers with scheduled tee times. Our putting green is cut on the same schedule as the greens on the golf course providing a consistent roll for both practice and then play. A modest chipping green is located adjacent to the putting green. Chipping is permitted on this green to help both the golfer looking for practice as well as the golfer getting ready to play. As with the putting green, the chipping green is also open to the general public.

Practice Equipment

Drivers, irons, wedges and putters are available to the public for use on the driving range as well as the two practice greens. If you need to borrow a club for your practice session, just ask at the cashiers office and we will be glad to provide you with whatever you need.
