CIT Program
The Counselor-in-Training program is available to students entering the 9th or 10th grades that have an interest in working with children as well as our town summer camps. They will go through a well rounded program with the CIT Director and staff that will cover- problem solving, community service, activity and program development and mentoring. From this training they will then have the opportunity to deliver activities to children as well as shadow counselors at off-site camps. CIT 1's will get to spend a week observing off-site and CIT 2's will get to spend two weeks off-site observing and initiating programs with campers. Successful completion of the CIT 2 program will allow participant a job at a town mini-camp the following summer. Limited space- call Marion Dale at 357-6100 to set up an interview.

Eligibility- Town of Ramapo Residents grades 9 (CIT 1) and 10 (CIT 2)
Hours- 9am-3pm
Location- Joseph T. St. Lawrence Center
Fee- CIT 1- $675.00 (includes 5 trips)
CIT 2- $500.00 (includes 3 trips)
