Flight Simulator Class LogoFlight Simulator Classes for Grade 5 - Adult     Wednesdays 4:30-6:00pm

Discover the exciting world of flight! Using a simulated cockpit, students learn what it is like to pilot an airplane by exploring the science of aerodynamics and the physics of flight. Designed primarily for Grade 5 through adult. Each session consists of six 1.5-hour classes. Students learn what it is like to pilot an airplane by exploring the science of aerodynamics and the physics of flight. Using the cockpit flight instruments students perform takeoffs, fly designated routes, and land various types of aircraft.

Explore the exciting world of LEGO WE-DO robots! Students learn to build and program LEGO We-Do robots. Designed primarily for students in grades 1 - 3. Each session consists of six 1-hour classes. Students learn to build and program LEGO We-Do robots by creating models of simple machines and animals with easy-to-use intuitive drag-and-drop software.

LEGO NXT Robotics for Children in Grades 4 - 8     Wednesdays 6:00-7:30pm

Session 1: 9/26, 10/3, 10, 17, 24, 31
Session 2: 11/14, 21, 28, 12/5, 12, 19

Explore the exciting world of LEGO NXT robotics! Students learn to build and program autonomous LEGO NXT Mindstorms robots that use ultrasonic, touch, and light sensors to successfully perform a variety of challenging tasks. Designed primarily for students in grades 4 - 8. Each session consists of six 1.5-hour classes. Students learn to build and program autonomous LEGO NXT Mindstorms robots that use ultrasonic, touch, and light sensors to successfully perform a variety of challenging tasks. Students can collect and analyze data retrieved from the sensors they program and place on the robots.

Computer Programming for Grades 2 - 5     Mondays 4:30-5:30pm

Session 1: 9/24, 10/1, 15, 22, 29
Session 2: 11/19, 26, 12/3, 10, 17

Students are encouraged to think creatively and work collaboratively while learning computer coding skills. Using SCRATCH software allows students to program their own interactive stories, games and movie animations. Designed primarly for students in grades 2 - 5. Each session consists of six 1.0-hour classes
